Ciudad de México, 23 de enero (AP).– La reacción a la muerte de Larry King, cuyas entrevistas televisadas con líderes mundiales, estrellas de cine y personas comunes y corrientes ayudaron a definir la conversación estadounidense durante medio siglo. King murió el sábado en el Centro Médico Cedars-Sinai en Los Ángeles a los 87 años.
“Larry King era un chico de Brooklyn que se convirtió en periodista y entrevistó a los creadores de noticias. Realizó más de 50 mil entrevistas que informaron a los estadounidenses de una manera clara y sencilla ”, tuiteó el gobernador de Nueva York, Andrew Cuomo . “Nueva York envía sus condolencias a su familia y muchos amigos”.
Larry King was a Brooklyn boy who become a newsman who interviewed the newsmakers. He conducted over 50,000 interviews that informed Americans in a clear and plain way.
